Burnaby, BC (October 1, 2023) – Burnaby FC is excited to announce the schedule for both the 2006 girls and 2006 boys BCSPL teams representing BC at the 2023 Canada Soccer Toyota National Championships U-17 Cup taking place in Moncton, New Brunswick, October 4th – 9th.
Ranked fourth in the country, the BFC 2006 Girls, coached by Kat Tomic, will kick off Wednesday, October 4th at 5:30 am PT vs Nova Scotia at Rocky Mountain Field, before playing Thursday, October 5th at 1:00 pm PT vs Quebec at Croix Bleue Medavie Stadium. The team will play New Brunswick at 1:00 pm on the 6th. Their final group stage game will be on Sunday, October 8th at 5:00 am PT against Saskatchewan at Rocky Stone Field.
Burnaby FC’s 2006 boys, coached by Todd May, will begin the tournament on Wednesday, October 4th at 10:30 am PT. Seeded third nationally, BFC will compete against Yellowknife YK Galaxy at Croix Bleue Medavie, before playing Friday, October 6th at 10:30 am PT against Charlottetown, PEI.
