Burnaby Football Club announced today, Grosvenor, an international property owner and developer with 345 years of history improving property and places, is the shirt sponsor for its First Kicks programs for players ages U5-U7.
This initiative offers an exciting opportunity for First Kicks to be supported by a community member who believes in giving back to the children in the communities where they are active. BFC’s First Kicks inaugural playing season promotes an active, fun and healthy lifestyle.
When Alison Miles Cork, Vice President of Investment at Grosvenor, was approached to review our community engagement plan, the response was immediate: “How can we get involved?”
Burnaby Football Club’s core values are teamwork, development, community, and integrity while creating legacies on and off the pitch. We can do this with the help of good people and companies such as Grosvenor.
“We are thrilled to partner with Grosvenor, who has a proven track record of supporting community initiatives,” said BFC Executive Director Morgan Quarry.
For 70+ years, Grosvenor has operated in North America, investing in vibrant urban locations. Their expertise extends to Burnaby with Brentwood Block, the city’s first pedestrian-focused, low-carbon community.
