Trevor Schneider

Head of Goalkeeping
Trevor is Burnaby FC’s Head of Goalkeeping, bringing a wealth of experience as both a player and coach. A former Vancouver Whitecaps Residency and Canadian Youth National Team goalkeeper, he went on to play NCAA Division I soccer at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he earned all-conference honors. His playing career also includes time with the Victoria Highlanders, Altitude FC, and training with Vancouver FC in the Canadian Premier League.
Since joining Burnaby FC in 2024, Trevor has led the growth of the club’s goalkeeper program, building a structured pathway from grassroots to high performance. Over the past year, he has focused on creating professional, high-repetition training environments that develop technical ability, confidence, and consistency in goalkeepers of all levels. Trevor is committed to mentoring young players both on and off the field, helping them reach their full potential within the game. He also holds multiple certifications, including the BC Goalkeeping Diploma, Safe Sport Training, and Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders.
