Dino Alberti
Dino played his youth soccer with the Grandview Legion organization winning two Provincial Titles and a National Championship. He represented British Columbia as a U16 and U18 Select Player, later progressing to Canada’s Youth and Olympic Team Programs. Dino was selected by the New York Cosmos of the North American Soccer League out of High School and spent three seasons with a World Class line up which included Giorgio Chinaglia, Franz Beckenbauer and the Legendary Pele. A highlight of this professional career was winning the NASL Soccer Bowl Championship in 1980 and 1982. Over the past twenty-five years, Dino has dedicated much of his time to Goal-Keeper specific clinics throughout the lower-mainland assisting countless aspiring youngers in reaching their potential. Dino was the Director of the soccer programming for the Vancouver Catholic Archdiocese for thirty years, a Director for the Ultimate Soccer Schools in the lower mainland for over thirty years, previously the Head Goalkeeping Coach at Cliff Avenue United FC for over twenty years and served as Goalkeeper Coach with Mountain Utd FC of the USL Super-Y League for four years.
