Sam Boppart
Sam was born and raised in North Vancouver and played soccer for Mountain United FC as well as the provincial program before graduating to play at Simon Fraser University. Although Sam’s background is in goalkeeping where he holds a Youth National Goalkeeping Licence, he has expanded his knowledge to become involved with coaching teams as well. Sam has a plethora of coaching experience, including with Mountain United FC, BC Soccer, the Vancouver Whitecaps, and Langara College.
Sam’s interest in photography and graphics began at a young age and has developed into a hobby and a way to give back to the community. When not involved in soccer-related activities, Sam can usually be found in the mountains skiing, hiking, rock climbing, or mountaineering.
Sam’s diverse skill set and passion for both sports and creative endeavors makes him a valuable asset to Burnaby FC. His dedication to both coaching and publishing demonstrate a strong commitment to both personal growth and community involvement.
