Game Day Operations – Equipment

Equipment Management on Game Days

If you are the first game of the day, you will be responsible for making sure the field is set up for the day:

  • Flags out
  • Netting in place
  • Cones to line the fields where necessary

If you are the last team on the field, after your game you are responsible for:

  • Locking the lockbox, or storage room on site
  • Making sure no equipment is left on the field
  • Ensuring keys are returned to boxes where applicable.

Every week, the game schedules are updated here:  SCHEDULE LINK

Prior to each weekend’s games REMEMBER TO CHECK if you are the first or last game of the day

  • If so, it is your duty to ensure BFC’s equipment is correctly setup or safely stored away.
  • IF IN DOUBT – LOCK IT UP

Everyone who needs equipment will have access, and it’s much less of an inconvenience to lock up, than it is to have to pay for and replace stolen equipment.

Canopies will be on site in some locations and can be found in storage rooms or lockboxes, however, access to canopies is not guaranteed with club events taking place all over the city.

  • If you are concerned about poor weather, we always advise teams to bring their own.

To report any lost or damaged equipment at a Burnaby FC playing location, you can submit feedback on the following form: FEEDBACK LINK

Thank you for your help in monitoring Burnaby FC’s equipment. Information gained helps to determine when the equipment was last seen, who may have it, and ultimately to recover it.
